• Historically, NextAuth has not used GitHub releases or git tags - it has relied on SemVer and NPM releases.
• This is the first and last release of v1 in GitHub, as v2 is in active development, quite far along and should replace it in the next 3-4 weeks.
• v1.13.0 contains several fixes and enhancements that are not in the most recent version that was published to NPM (v1.12.1), but has not been published to NPM as they are untested.
• This release is likely to be published to NPM shortly before v2 goes live, to provide a complete archive on NPM for the benefit of those still running v1 after the release of v2.
• The expectation is there will be no follow up releases to v1 after this release and that v2 will replace it completely.
