A KOReader device you remove from your account now stops syncing, and you can restore it later. OPDS apps can tell EPUB and KEPUB downloads apart.
docker pull ghcr.io/new-usemame/calibre-web-nextgen:v4.1.59Before you upgrade
- There are no database changes.
- The KOReader plugin is unchanged and stays at 4.1.57.
Fixed
- Removed KOReader devices stop syncing, and can be restored. A device removed in Account > Devices used to keep pushing reading progress, and its inventory reports failed with a 500. Both now get a clear 409
device_inactiveanswer and nothing it sends is stored. A new Removed devices section lists them with a Restore button, so a removal can be undone after the Undo notice is gone. Reported and tested by @sgreadly (#2765). - OPDS apps such as KOReader can tell EPUB and KEPUB downloads apart. Each download link now carries a title of EPUB or KEPUB, so a book with both no longer shows two links both labelled "epub". Thanks @sgreadly for the fix (#1100).
UMASKapplies to books ingest adds and other background library writes. WithUMASK=027, imported books still got 755 folders because the setting reached only the web app. An invalid value is now named once in the service log. Thanks @sgreadly for the fix and @JohanSF for the diagnosis (#2670).- An
.acsmticket that no plugin fulfilled now says what to check. The ingest log names the two causes seen on a real Adobe setup: a plugin zip that was copied but never registered, and DeACSM without a finished Adobe activation. Reported by @sgreadly (#1228).
