What's fixed and new
Library & reading
- Fit more books on screen, especially on mobile. Library View settings add Comfortable / Compact / Dense layouts — a phone can show 2–4 complete covers per row, and wide screens use their full width, without cropping. (#835, #764)
- Series pages can be a readable list. A keyboard- and touch-accessible grid/list switch, remembered per browser. (#662)
- A calmer book page on mobile. Cover and title stay together, long tag lists collapse behind “Show all” after eight, and synced reading position shows as a progress bar. (#836)
- High-resolution covers even with Amazon metadata off. The cover picker uses a book’s stored ISBN to offer the high-res Amazon cover independently. Thanks to @briffaantoine for spotting the missing path. (#304)
- Restore a hidden Table view from Customize navigation — no need to switch to the classic view. (#837)
- The book page shows the real imported filename and up-to-date file sizes again. (#840, #841)
- Shelf controls stay inside a phone screen instead of forcing horizontal scroll.
Sync
- Newly imported books sync KOReader progress immediately in filename-matching mode, instead of reporting “No book found” until a restart. (#509, #627)
- A replaced side-loaded book leaves your Kobo’s My Books list when the old copy is deleted. (#832)
Sign-in & localization
- One compact “Login with” row for magic-link and SSO methods, under your configured names. (#833)
- More of the new interface in Russian and French — data-driven sidebar, filter, and sort labels now translate. Credit: @standhaftsohnsergius (#844). (#719, #615)
