Setup
- Unpack the archive to a folder you can write to. The settings file and the log are saved next to the game.
- Run strikers, or strikers.exe on Windows.
- The settings window opens on first launch. On the Game tab, press Disc Image..., choose your image and press Save and Play.
Extract Files... is optional. It copies the game files out of the image so you can move or delete the image afterwards.
European discs take their language from the language line in strikers.ini, for example language = german. The other options are English, French, Spanish and Italian.
Saves
Each region has its own memory card, stored in your user folder rather than next to the game:
- Windows: %APPDATA%
- macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Super Mario Strikers
- Linux: ~/.local/share
Reporting a problem
Set log = 1 in strikers.ini and attach the strikers-log.txt it writes. If the game gets stuck on a screen, also run it once with STRIKERS_LOG_SCENES=1.
