This is temporary, experimental release for the purpose of testing recent work on some issues. It's largely untested and may have some serious issues. Please try using the other releases below in case of problems.
Some of the changes include:
- Added support for injection via dciman32.dll, in case ddraw.dll gets loaded from the system directory instead of the application directory. Simply rename ddraw.dll to dciman32.dll.
- Log file name has been changed to DDrawCompat-processName[instanceId].log, where processName is the name of the executable file that loaded DDrawCompat, and instanceId is a number that is added in case multiple instances of the same process are running simultaneously.
- Removed dependency on Detours. Now the same license terms apply to the binary release as to the source code.
Note: this release may be periodically updated and eventually removed (replaced with a stable release).
