v0.14.2 - November 5, 2026
Bug Fixes: 🐛
-
A network drive that did not mount no longer marks your trailers deleted — the
Cleanuptask marked every trailer deleted when the drive showed an empty folder, and the next download run got the same videos again asTrailer 2files; Trailarr now keeps a trailer when its folder is empty or missing, and it marks a deleted trailer active again when its file is back on disk — see Trailer Cleanup. Thanks @Shyrka973 for the detailed report! (#733) -
A renamed or edited trailer keeps its download — the files scan knew a renamed trailer only by its content, so a trailer that you renamed and changed, for example with new audio tracks, became a new download, and the old one was marked deleted; Trailarr now also matches a file by its file name and by the YouTube id in its metadata, and it analyzes the file again — see Matching a file to a download.
-
The scan, refresh and download tasks are much faster on a large library — three database indexes were missing, so each lookup for one media item read a whole table, and on a library of 88,000 items these tasks ran for hours; Trailarr now adds the indexes and keeps the statistics of the database up to date. Thanks @sittingmongoose for the detailed report! (#732)

An API key of more than 50 characters works — the connection form cut a pasted key at 50 characters, so a valid 64-character key failed the test as
Unauthorized; the form now takes up to 128 characters. Thanks @zebrapurring for the detailed report! (#734) -
The
{tmdb_id}and{tvdb_id}placeholders work — a profile with one of them inFile Name,Custom FolderorSearch Querycould not be saved; both work now, and a media item without the id gets an empty value — see File Name. Thanks @nyszilard for the detailed report! (#735) -
Remove Silencecuts a trailer with a long description — v0.14.1 fixed the silence detection for such a trailer, but the trim that follows still stopped at a split character in the cut description, and the trailer kept the silence at its end; Trailarr now replaces a broken character in the trim output too. Thanks @kris-anderson for finding the cause and the fix! (#741, #743) -
Remove Silenceno longer fills the temp folder — each trimmed trailer left its untrimmed download, about 30 MB, in the temp folder until the next start, and a failed trim left a copy that stopped the next trim of the same video; Trailarr now removes the download after a trim and the copy after a failed trim. Thanks @kris-anderson for finding the cause and the fix! (#742, #744)
