Upgrade notes
Multiple main pods now require multi-main mode. n8n only coordinates its main processes when multi-main mode is on. Without it, each main pod runs every schedule and trigger on its own, so a workflow fires once per pod and executions collide. Earlier chart versions allowed this to render, which could lead to undesired workflow execution behaviour.
The chart now refuses to render with replicaCount above 1, or with hpa.main able to scale above 1, unless multiMain.enabled is on. Multi-main needs an enterprise licence, so the render also stops if you enable it without one. Set replicaCount to 1, or turn on multi-main mode.
The task-runner sidecar now has a liveness probe. If the launcher stops answering /healthz on port 5680, Kubernetes restarts it after six failed checks ten seconds apart. You can override the probe under taskRunners.probes.liveness. If you set N8N_RUNNERS_LAUNCHER_HEALTH_CHECK_PORT in taskRunners.extraEnv, it has to be a port number, as the probe uses it.
Single-replica installs no longer get a PodDisruptionBudget. With one pod and minAvailable: 1, the budget stopped nodes draining. The PDB is removed on upgrade and comes back when replicaCount is above 1.
