This Plugin now offers a complete feature pack of every setting that is customizable. Local Storage. Server Settings, everything.
Which makes it highly useful and risky at the same time.
So be sure to remember you have this installed if you are seeing settings being reverted!
✨ New Features
- Tabs and field order now mirror Jellyfin's own Display, Home, Playback, Subtitles, and Controls settings pages, so anything already familiar from there is in the same place here. Live TV & Guide, Sorting, and a few settings not exposed anywhere in Jellyfin's own UI now live in their own tabs.
- Field labels and descriptions now use Jellyfin's own wording wherever a matching setting exists in jellyfin-web.
- New search bar that filters by field name across every tab to make it easier to find a setting.
Master switch
- Disable Jellyfin Tweaks toggle at the top of the config page. It stops script injection and everything the plugin pushes to users, without uninstalling the plugin. But settings already synced will stay! This can be used for a one time sync if needed.

Display
- Display language, date/time locale
- App theme, dashboard theme
- Screensaver type, screensaver time, backdrop screensaver interval, photo slideshow interval
- Disable server custom CSS, custom CSS code
- Faster animations, blurred image placeholders
Home
- Home screen sections (all 10 slots)
- Default screen per library (Movies, Shows, Music, Live TV, and so on)
- Library display (per-library toggles for home sections), library folders (grouping) and library order
- Hide watched content from Recently Added Media
Playback
- Max audio channels, preferred audio language (with Original Language), play default audio track, disable VBR audio
- Max video resolution, limit supported video resolution, max music and Chromecast bitrate, per-network streaming bitrate grid
- fMP4-HLS container, shorter HLS segments, cinema mode, play next episode automatically, still watching prompt
- Set audio and subtitle track from the previous item, show next video info, external video players, skip forward and back length
- DTS, TrueHD, H.264 High 10, preferred transcode video and audio codec
- Audio normalization, always remux FLAC and MP3, preferred aspect ratio, show remaining time
- Display missing episodes, episode images in Next Up, rewatching in Next Up, max days in Next Up
Subtitles
- Preferred subtitle language, subtitle mode, burn subtitles, always burn in when transcoding, PGS/VobSub rendering
- Full subtitle appearance: styling, size, weight, font, colors, drop shadow, vertical position, bitmap aspect mode, with a live preview
Live TV and Guide
- Color coded backgrounds, favorite channels first, channel sort order
- Indicators for HD, live, new, premiere and repeat programs
Controls and Other
- Gamepad, smooth scroll
- Auto login, allow local network without password
Note
AI Disclaimer
For this, I did use AI assistant (Claude Code) to pull all the settings that Jellyfin Offers and how they are stored, which tab the setting belongs to and the exact strings that each settings use straight from the Jellyfin Web source. Also to introduce a workflow to flag if any setting ever changes upstream.
Tip
If you see the settings do not reflect, make sure you do a force refresh a couple of times!
