- fix(ios): use Darwin engine for TLS/WSS support on iOS
Fixes iOS TLS connection issue by implementing platform-specific HTTP
client engines using expect/actual pattern.
Root cause: CIO engine is JVM-only and doesn't support iOS native
platforms, causing TLS/WSS connections to fail.
Solution:
- Created platform-specific HTTP client factory using expect/actual
- iOS: Uses Darwin engine (NSURLSession) with native TLS support
- Android: Uses CIO engine (maintains existing behavior)
Changes:
- Add PlatformHttpClient.kt (expect declaration)
- Add PlatformHttpClient.android.kt (CIO engine implementation)
- Add PlatformHttpClient.ios.kt (Darwin engine implementation)
- Update WebSocketHandler to use createPlatformHttpClient()
- Update ServiceClient to use createPlatformHttpClient()
Verified: Both iOS and Android builds compile successfully.
