New Features
- Added Protontricks detection. Your Unifideck games now appear in Protontricks with the prefix the game runs in. If you use the Flatpak version, Unifideck grants it read access to the prefixes folder so it can see them. This does not mean we will support fixes via Protontricks perpetually. Tinker at your own risk.
- Added a language picker when installing Epic games that ship separate language packs.
- Added an Installed section to the Downloads tab listing every installed game with its size and storage location, each with Play and Uninstall.
- Removed finished and cancelled downloads from the Downloads tab history. Only failures are kept now, with a Clear failed button, since completed downloads show up in the Installed list instead.
- Added a manual Save location row to the cloud save window showing where your saves were detected, with Change location and Reset to automatic for all games instead of just the ones where the plugin couldn't find the save location.
- Added a prominent Cloud saves indicator on the game page showing Supported, Not supported or Unknown before you install the game.
Major Issues Fixed
- Fixed launching a Ubisoft game re-installing the current prefix.
- Fixed the Update button never appearing for any store.
- Fixed some Epic games failing to install instantly on every attempt, including Fallout 3 GOTY, Fallout New Vegas, Hogwarts Legacy and Cyberpunk 2077 (language selector fixes this).
- Fixed uninstalling an Epic game removing it from your library without freeing any disk space.
- Fixed GOG games never receiving their Visual C++ and Unreal Engine runtimes, which made their launchers and games crash or refuse to start.
- Fixed Amazon showing as signed out and then failing to sign back in.
- Fixed saves being lost when a game's Proton version changed.
- Fixed save locations, cloud save support and descriptions missing for many games, including titles starting with "The", "A" or a number, and titles with trademark symbols or edition names.
- Fixed Steam's Stop button and the X in the play row not actually stopping the game.
- Fixed the Proton version changing on every launch of an already set up game, which also wiped the Visual C++ registry entries some games need.
- Fixed "Space Required" sitting blank for several seconds on most game pages.
- Fixed the Quick Access panel jumping back to Settings instead of the tab you were on.
- Improved leftover Proton folders that Steam created for Unifideck games are now cleaned up automatically in the background, and only when they can be positively identified as ours. Your own non-Steam games are never touched.
