Cloud Safe Updates compatibility, progress reporting and snapshot performance improvements for hosted WordPress sites, including Hostinger and WP Launcher.

  • Improved: Cloud Safe Updates reports drain time, snapshot file and database progress, and the latest site confirmation.

  • Improved: Snapshot scans resume across bounded requests, small database tables are batched, and unchanged files can reuse verified snapshots between update groups. Every group still gets a fresh database snapshot and the existing rollback protections.

  • Fixed: Database snapshots reuse one connection per batch to avoid connection bursts on shared hosting.

  • Fixed: Hostinger AI history tables no longer look like another WordPress installation. Recovery checks table structure as well as names, while keeping these history tables in snapshots and rollback. Genuine overlapping WordPress installations and unreadable database metadata still block updates.

  • Fixed: Standard writable must-use plugins are supported by Cloud Safe Updates. Their files are snapshotted and restored without loading WordPress, including when an MU plugin fails. Custom MU-plugin paths, drop-ins and external object caches remain blocked when automatic recovery cannot safely cover them.

  • Fixed: WP Launcher's provisioning marker is preserved. The root .wp-launcher-ready file no longer blocks recovery merely because it is host-owned. Other unwritable WordPress files and unsafe symlinks still block updates.
