Six games get bug fixes. Rebuilt are Paper Mario 1.1.6, Mario Kart 64 1.1.8, GoldenEye 007 1.1.7, Perfect Dark 1.0.7, Super Mario 64 1.1.6 and Super Smash Bros. 1.1.7. The other six games are unchanged from 1.4.4.
- Paper Mario. Skipping the title screen demo during its battle no longer makes your next battle end the moment it starts, or crash the game.
- Paper Mario. Power Bounce no longer gets stuck stopping after the first bounce after a few long chains.
- Paper Mario. A second Star Beam or Peach Beam in one session plays its full star spirit scene again.
- Paper Mario. A second fight with Lava Piranha in one session no longer keeps the victory song playing through its second phase.
- Paper Mario. The opening story shows its storybook pages and narration again when the title screen is left long enough to show it twice.
- Paper Mario. The big palm tree in Yoshi's Village hides Mario again on later visits instead of covering him.
- Mario Kart 64. Every race starts fresh, as on the N64. The starting grid no longer carries over from the last race, Toad's Turnpike's trucks no longer change their look on later visits, Banshee Boardwalk and Moo Moo Farm no longer get Toad's Turnpike's fog, and a second award ceremony's balloons and fireworks start over.
- Super Mario 64. The faint buzz on sounds off to one side while they move or fade is gone.
- GoldenEye 007 and Perfect Dark. A rare stray strip drawn from the left edge of the screen is fixed.
- Super Smash Bros. L2 and R2 now work as the N64's C-left and C-right (issue 6). In a fight they jump, and on the character select they pick more colours. Shield stays on Y and taunt on SELECT, and both new buttons can be moved in MENU > CONTROLS.
Save states (RESUME) from the older versions of the rebuilt games may not load. They are kept aside as .rejected files. Your in-game saves carry over.
To update, unzip the new game zips (or the All Game Pack) over the old ones.
