Release Notes

• cargo vet check --frozen (a disabled network) will infer the existence of crates using versions
  in audits when checking audit-as-crates-io policies (#661)
• The --mode argument to cargo vet diff and cargo vet inspect has changed in the following
  ways (#701):
  • sourcegraph is no longer supported
  • A custom_url option has been added, which allows providing a url template.
  • The previous mode is independently cached for the two commands (previously, they shared a single
    cached value).
  • crates.io is now supported (only for inspect).
• Authorization can now be done via git-credential helpers (#640).
• reqwest and other dependencies have been updated and audited to eliminate RUSTSEC vulnerabilities
  (#700, #704).
• MSRV has been updated to 1.85.
