Features and Enhancements
- Customizable External Display Notches: Choose between three distinct styles in Settings -> External Display:
- Notch (Default): Restores the classic persistent simulated Mac-style notch connected to the top bezel. (Fixes #74)
- Island: A persistent floating pill unattached to the bezel. Its idle height automatically adapts to the menu bar height minus padding, expanding smoothly on hover, click, or active HUD events.
- HUD: Minimal floating HUD shown only when volume or brightness changes occur.
- Position and Sizing Controls: Dedicated sliders in Settings -> External Display to customize:
- Top Offset (for HUD and Island).
- Width and Height Adjustment (for Island).
- Consistent Expanded Widget Sizing: Expanded widgets across external displays now reference standard notch proportions so they never feel squished or narrow.
- Cross-Display File Shelf Synchronization: File Shelf items now automatically synchronize across notches on multiple screens in real time.
Bug Fixes
- Lock Screen HUD Dismissal: Fixed an issue where re-locking the screen during the unlock delay dismissed the lock status HUD prematurely (#76).
- Multi-Display Brightness Routing: Built-in screen brightness changes (
targetID == 0) now route exclusively to the primary screen rather than triggering on external monitors.
