• PHPC-2797: Shut down libmongoc when the process exits by @GromNaN in #2200
• PHPC-2801: Upgrade libmongoc to 2.5.8 by @GromNaN in #2205
  • Fix possible truncation in BSON binary vector on 32-bit builds. CVE-2026-120954
  • Fix a memory leak when an OP_COMPRESSED reply fails to parse. CVE-2026-120678
  • Report writeConcernError consistently, as mandated by the CRUD spec.
• PHPC-2783: Update libmongocrypt to 1.21.1 by @GromNaN in #2210
  • Validate inputs before interpolating them into a KMS HTTP request. CVE-2026-114655
  • Remove support for the prefixPreview, suffixPreview, and substringPreview query types. Using them in encryptedFields is now an error.
