Stability release for long-running ChatGPT Web turns, project sessions, compaction, and launcher recovery.
Fixed:
- Preserved intermediate ChatGPT commentary between actions and complete action labels, including searched-site counts, in the Codex stream.
- Removed the default absolute browser-turn timeout and made retryable terminal failures start a fresh browser turn instead of poisoning the session.
- Improved long-context compaction, steering, tool-round replay, Markdown streaming, and current Codex project-environment validation.
- Added one bounded recovery reload for an idle Cloudflare challenge and clearer stale-session guidance, including a 48-hour relogin reminder.
- Kept subscription-loading failures retryable instead of treating them as an invalid login.
- Improved launcher tab ownership, diagnostics, shutdown safety, and runtime lifecycle stability across macOS, Windows, and Linux.
- Clarified that the MCP tunnel must be running before the connector can be added.
Context limits:
- ChatGPT Web Instant, Medium, and High now use a 205,000-token context window with auto-compaction at 184,500 tokens.
- ChatGPT Web Extra High and Pro remain at 256,000 tokens with auto-compaction at 230,400 tokens.
All release assets are built, smoke-tested, and checksummed by the multi-platform release workflow.
