Add a suite of unit tests that can be run via a special augmented version of the plugin. This should make the plugin significantly more reliable with regards to future changes.

Use the "Keep open notes" homepage behaviour when middle-clicking the house as well.

Improve view restoration to be more reliable.

Never open a new tab if the active tab is currently empty (#49). To be clear, this only affects the currently focused tab.
