๐ก๏ธ StevenBlock v1.0
StevenBlock was rewritten from scratch, so this brand-new architecture starts a fresh version line at v1.0.
๐ Highlights
- ๐ฅ๏ธ Brand-new WebUI โ switch lists, update, manage domain rules, check status and read logs from one polished interface.
- โ๏ธ Fully automatic install โ no questions, no volume keys. The installer detects your root manager, checks for conflicts, cleans up old versions and installs the default list.
- ๐ Zero permanent background processes โ blocking is a static hosts file, and the local WebUI server only runs while you use it.
- ๐ Backed-up, atomic updates โ downloads are validated before they can touch your hosts file, and every write can be rolled back.
- ๐งช Applied-state check โ see at a glance whether your hosts file is โ Applied, ๐ก Not applied yet or โ ๏ธ Overridden by another module.
- ๐ Private by design โ local only, token-protected, no telemetry, no external requests from the WebUI.
๐ฏ New blocklists
- ๐ข StevenBlack Main โ the balanced default
- ๐ต hBlock โ a mixed list built from many sources
- ๐ข HaGeZi Light โ basic protection
- ๐ต HaGeZi Normal โ all-round protection
- ๐ก HaGeZi Pro โ extended protection
- ๐ HaGeZi Pro++ โ aggressive, may break some sites
- ๐ด HaGeZi Ultimate โ the most aggressive option
- ๐ Live entry counts and last-update dates, read from each list's header without downloading the whole file
๐ฅ๏ธ WebUI
- ๐ Lists โ level badges, entry counts, dates and a clearly marked active list
- โฌ๏ธ Live progress โ download, verify, optimize and install steps with percentage, size, speed and a โ๏ธ Cancel button
- ๐งฉ Domain Rules โ โ Allow and โ Block single domains; paste a full URL and the domain is extracted for you
- โก Actions โ ๐ Update Current List, ๐ Check Status and โป Disable / Enable Blocker
- ๐ Logs โ timestamped, color-coded entries (โน๏ธ INFO, โ ๏ธ WARN, โ ERROR)
- ๐ Reboot banner โ appears whenever saved changes are waiting for a reboot
- ๐ Dark and โ๏ธ light themes, built for phones from 360 px up to tablets
- ๐ฑ Opens inside KernelSU, KernelSU Next, SukiSU and APatch, and from the Action button on Magisk v28+ (or with KsuWebUI, MMRL and WebUI X)
๐ Safety net
- ๐ Every download must return HTTP 200, can't be empty or an HTML page, must contain at least 1,000 valid entries and must match its Content-Length
- ๐งน One-pass normalization: every entry becomes 0.0.0.0, duplicates and invalid domains are removed
- ๐พ The last 3 hosts files are kept as backups
- โ๏ธ Atomic writes and post-write verification with automatic restore
- ๐ One task at a time, with stale-lock detection
- ๐ Offline install? StevenBlock finishes installing and downloads your list automatically after the next boot
โฌ๏ธ Upgrading from v5.0
- ๐ป The terminal menu, ๐๏ธ volume-key installer and โก Energized lists have been removed
- ๐งน v5.0 leftovers (config.txt, hosts.bak, hosts.tmp) are cleaned up automatically
- ๐ฏ Everyone starts on StevenBlack Main โ pick any other list in the WebUI after rebooting
- ๐ Reboot after the update to activate StevenBlock v1.0
