If you want to use “direct input mode”, open the setup tool and setup
a key binding for the command “toggle_input_mode_on_off”. By default,
the key binding for this command is empty. If this command has a
non-empty keybinding, a “Input mode on/off” menu is added to the
panels and one can switch between “Input mode on” (use
ibus-typing-booster) and “Input mode off” (don’t use
ibus-typing-booster) using the panel menus or the key binding.
When ibus-typing-booster is off, all keys are passed through except
the key which toggles ibus-typing-booster on again.
