A redesigned Downloads screen, and a beta channel you can follow in Obtainium.
Added
- Downloaded show page. Tapping a show on the Downloads screen lists its downloaded episodes by
season, with sizes, swipe to remove and "Remove all downloads" (#84, #81). - Multi-select on the Downloads screen. Tap "Select" or long-press a movie or show, then remove
everything selected at once. - Play from the Downloads screen. The ▶ on movie and episode artwork resumes playback straight
away, from the downloaded copy. - Undo instead of confirmation dialogs. Cancelling or removing a download shows an Undo snackbar.
A cancelled download keeps running until the snackbar goes away, so undoing loses no progress
(#82, #84). - Beta channel. Builds of
mainand of work in progress are published as GitHub prereleases and
install as a separate app, "Findroid CE Beta", with its own data. The README explains how to
follow them in Obtainium (#83, #85, #86, #87).
Changed
- The Downloads screen is now one scrolling list instead of tabs: a storage summary, then
Downloading, TV Shows and Movies. Sort by recently downloaded, name or size from the ⇅ menu
(#84, #81). - Active downloads show a progress ring you can tap to stop, and one status line such as
"164 MB of 498 MB · 3 min left", "Waiting for network" or the failure reason. The section header
shows the count and combined speed, and the time-left estimate is smoothed so it settles instead
of jumping around. - Finished downloads get a check mark and then move into the library on their own; "Clear
completed" is gone. Completing, cancelling and removing a download give a short haptic tick. - Movies and shows on the Downloads screen have 16:9 artwork with watch progress, plus year,
runtime and size (episode count and size for shows). - The storage card shows a bar split into movies, TV shows, other files and free space, turns red
under 10 % free, and opens the download settings. An empty Downloads screen explains what goes
there and links to the library.
Fixed
- In the download queue, the percentage no longer wraps onto several lines, red no longer shows at
the corners of the cards, a long series name no longer hides which episode is downloading, and
failed downloads show a retry icon instead of a download arrow (#82).
