Test build based on ZacharyQin's PR #65, preserving his original commits, with the family/store integration and navigation changes on top.
Changes
- Integrates preferred-copy selection into the Family Sharing pill on Home and the game page. Multiple available copies show a +; your selected own copy shows your Steam display name. A sole owned copy has no family pill, and a borrowed-only copy keeps its owner label.
- Integrates Unifideck's available store-version selector into the Store pill, including Home, and hides the separate selector.
- Matches Home's focus ring and glow on game-page controls. Aligns Description and HLTB with the controls above each card, restores Home focus on Back, and allows B to cancel the opening animation.
- Fixes spacing and controller scrolling around the optional Verified feedback and game-page submenus.
New in test build 2
- Clean look navigation: the game page's D-pad routing and focus scrolling now work in Clean too. Down from Play no longer lands on the hidden preferred-copy link or Clean's hidden cards (no highlight), the Verified feedback row is centred when it gets focus, and the submenus sit below the header.
Install and test
Install the attached game-glance.zip using Decky's ZIP installer. The installed version is 3.4.1-family-integration.2.
Please test copy/store selection, both directions between the buttons and cards, Back to Home, and cancellation during the opening animation, in both the normal and the Clean look.
Verified feedback: tested on the Deck with Steam's own prompt (made to appear on a Verified game), in the Clean look: Play, prompt centred, submenus, and back up. On a game where Steam asks you by itself, please check the same, plus the confirmation after answering and a game without feedback.
Validation
- TypeScript check, all 1,437 automated tests, and the production build passed.
- Family/store integration and controller navigation were tested during development on the Ally; earlier copy-selection builds were also tested on Deck. Test build 2's Clean navigation was tested on the Deck with a family-shared game and a game showing the Verified prompt.
This is a prerelease for testing. PR #65 remains open and unchanged; this build is not a stable release.
