  • Custom Instructions are now available. ReaAssist can include your saved local preferences with every request, with quick access from Settings and the Options menu. Thanks to REAPER forum user manthosdm for prompting the idea.

  • Provider and model handling is sharper. Custom OpenAI-compatible endpoints are normalized more reliably, no-code clarification turns avoid unnecessary retries, and Anthropic guidance is updated for Opus 4.8.

  • Small workflow polish and fixes. Auto-run-off JSFX results report correctly, Custom Instructions diagnostics are clearer, and the viewport probe no longer misfires during window dragging.
