Pointer Finder finds a stable base-address pointer chain (game.exe+…)
for any value you scanned in Cheat Engine — automatically. No more manual
"find what writes → find what points to it" walks: paste your scanned
address, trigger the value once, keep playing.
Highlights
- Single self-contained
.CTtable — no installer, no dependencies (CE 7.4+, 64-bit games) - Write-watchpoint on your address, then an automatic climb up the object graph
- Two discovery engines: pointer scans and watchpoints — with a static
partial-pattern scan fallback, so it works even where hardware
read-watchpoints are not delivered (some antivirus / VBS / remote sessions) - The finished chain is saved as a CE pointer record named
Pointer Finder (120s check): …and re-checked by CE itself for two minutes;
after that it's renamed to the finalPointer Finder: … - Chains that fail are kept in the list marked
(WRONG?)— grey, so you can
verify them yourself - Self-healing search: GC rebuilds, dead/stack addresses and false chains are
handled mid-search, no restart needed - Any numeric CE type: Byte, 2/4/8 Bytes, Float, Double, Custom (1–8 bytes)
Install
- Download
PointerFinder.CT(below) and open it in Cheat Engine. - Start your game, attach CE, scan your value (Double for most currencies).
- Paste the address into the tool, press Start, trigger the value once
and keep playing.
Verify end to end on the included demo target (testtarget/) — a tiny
fake game with a 5-level pointer chain, built from source with any MinGW.
