Dear brave alpha testers. I'm sorry the 1.1.6 had such a serious bug with android firmware update. Thank you for all your great feedback.
This release of the android app and device code fixes that problem. But if you previously installed 1.1.6 of the device code you'll need to install from the .bins in github. From henceforth, firmware updates done over bluetooth should properly preserve your region settings.
The other fix from this release is that there was an occasional crash of the device code, but thanks to a good bug report I was able to get a stack trace and fix the root problem.
(Also for this week and next I'll be coding slightly less than usual because I'm helping with some 'real life' non software problems ;-) )
