1.1.0.1 - Concurrency Bugs Resolved

Release of the MII data-sharing process plugin used by a HRP to coordinate data sharing of an approved data usage project including transfer of data-sets or analysis results from a DIC to a DMS and aggregation of transferred data at the DMS. This release includes bug fixes and improves error messages.

The documentation of the process including the description, the deployment and configuration guides as well as instructions on how to start a process instance can be found in the wiki. For a pre-built jar file, see assets: mii-process-data-sharing-1.1.0.1.jar.

General remarks:

• This release is compatible with the Data Sharing Framework version >= 1.0.0. This release does not work with DSF versions < 1.0.0.
• It is recommended for all organizations with the role DMS, as it fixes two bugs in the mergeDataSet process.

Bugs fixed:

• Fixed a crash when both download data-set and send receipt failed: both error handlers set the received Task to failed, so the second update threw an uncaught exception (failed → failed is not allowed). The Task is now updated in one place, after the error handlers.
• Fixed a failed Task update when the DMS is also the DIC: The receipt goes to the execute process on the same DSF instance. That process immediately deletes the DocumentReference referenced by the received Task, so the later update that completes the Task failed on the unresolvable reference. If the organization is both DMS and DIC in the same project, the Task is now completed before the receipt is sent.

• Merge process crashes if downloading data-set and sending receipt fails #62
• DataSendTask fails to complete if organization is DIC and DMS at the same time #63
