What this release is. Google Play Store preparation and macOS release
hardening. The release pipeline now builds and verifies the signed Google Play
Store Android App Bundle (PhairPlay-1.0.0-alpha.5-GoogleTV.aab) alongside
both release APKs, ships with the store graphics and submission guide, and is
signed with the owner's primary release keystore.

Added

• Google Play Store bundle (.aab) in the release pipeline — scripts/release.sh
  now builds :app:bundleGoogletvRelease, verifies the bundle signature with
  jarsigner, and uploads PhairPlay-<version>-GoogleTV.aab to the GitHub
  release alongside the Google TV and Fire TV APKs.
• docs/guides/GOOGLE_PLAY_STORE.md and docs/playstore/assets/ — step-by-step
  Play Console submission guide (Android TV form factor opt-in, Data Safety and
  Foreground Service declarations, store listing copy) and pixel-accurate store
  graphics (512x512 icon, 1024x500 feature graphic, 1280x720 TV banner,
  and two 1920x1080 16:9 TV screenshots).

Fixed

• scripts/cast-registration-info.sh on macOS — locates a working JDK 17
  keytool before falling back to the macOS /usr/bin/keytool stub, forces
  English keytool output (-J-Duser.language=en) so certificate owner parsing
  succeeds on non-English locales, and supports single-quoted values in
  release.env.
• scripts/check-kdoc-headers.sh and scripts/check-i18n-completeness.sh on
  macOS Bash 3.2 — reads embedded AWK programs via read -r -d '' instead of
  $(cat <<'AWK') so Bash 3.2 does not fail on literal ) inside heredocs.

Installation

Side-load the APK that matches your device (or upload the AAB to Google Play Console):

• PhairPlay-1.0.0-alpha.5-GoogleTV.apk — Google TV / Android TV APK (Android 10+)
• PhairPlay-1.0.0-alpha.5-FireTV.apk — Amazon Fire TV APK (Android 7.1+)
• PhairPlay-1.0.0-alpha.5-GoogleTV.aab — Google Play Store Android App Bundle (Google TV)

Use adb or a sideloading app like Downloader to install.

What was not tested

This is a prerelease. No television has run this build: 0 of the 16 device test
cases of the device test plan have been executed. Report what you
find as an issue.

The build itself

• The four checks of the quality gate and the JVM protocol suite were green on
  the tagged commit.
• Both APKs are signed with the release key. An update over an installed version
  only works if the key is the same — otherwise uninstall the old version first.
