Rename Select options with an impact review
Select and Multi-select options can now be renamed without leaving existing
records or Saved Views behind. Before applying a rename, Eidos Lite shows how
many rows and dependencies will change and asks for confirmation when values
must be rewritten or merged.
Arrange the workspace around your task
The main workspace now keeps navigation, the active file, Version History, and
Terminal panels in a more stable layout. Terminal placement remains
configurable, diff navigation no longer shifts as panels change, and externally
updated Eidos Files refresh without reopening the Space.
Return keyboard focus where you expect
Leaving a menu with Escape restores the last active Grid cell. The configurable
file-content focus command now places an editable caret in Source documents and
preserves an existing selection when focus returns.
Keep open files stable during version operations
Restoring History and creating automatic checkpoints now coordinate open-file
reads with Runtime restarts. Busy workspaces can keep several Eidos Files open
without intermittent closed-Runtime errors while version operations finish.
No migration is required.
