What's new
Inspect table changes down to individual fields
Version History can now open a changed record from a table diff and show each
field in detail. Text changes support unified or split layouts, optional line
wrapping, and a changed-fields filter, while clickable breadcrumbs make it easy
to move back through the record, table, file, and history levels.
Open linked records without leaving the table
Relation editors now include an action for opening a linked record in a detail
panel. You can inspect or edit the related record while keeping the source table
in place, then close the panel to return to the same context.
New records stay understandable in sorted and filtered views
The configurable new-record shortcut now follows the same complete creation
flow as the grid action. A new row stays pinned while you edit it and explains
that it may move; after editing, Eidos Lite follows it to its correct sorted
position or lets it leave the view when it no longer matches the filter.
Grid values and floating editors are easier to scan
Record IDs and dates now use stable monospace formatting so repeated values
align consistently. Grid editors, relation pickers, menus, and selects also use
one restrained elevation style that separates them from the table without a
heavy shadow.
No migration is required.
