New
- GitHub Copilot CLI joins the supported agents. Its Auto default works with every Copilot plan, including Free.
- The Plan stays readable in your editor and review tools. Build notes live in a separate file; export gathers the Markdown and its pictures. Shared previews use the captured frame.
- Approve and build here continues the planning conversation. Use the arrow to choose another agent, model, session or terminal.
- Approving a change keeps its conversation open for merging, deployment and later tweaks. Review shows when it reaches the base branch and asks you to approve later commits.
- The collapsed task list becomes a navigation rail. New App shortcuts toggle both sidebars and open Home, Team, Artifacts and Settings; buttons show their shortcuts on hover.
- Conversation shows current work, background helpers and permission waits. Thinking can be hidden, collapsed or expanded, and Chat has a full-window Terminal view.
- Usage settings control Used or Remaining percentages, displayed readings and cost estimates. The macOS menu bar and Usage popup respect those choices; visible Claude usage refreshes every five minutes.
- Manager bots can read what a task is waiting for, its latest decision and answer-mode changes from
status --json. Peer sessions identify the task taken withnext.
Fixed
- Plans and closing records stay on disk without automatic Git staging or commits. External terminal handoffs explain the ordinary request to give your agent. Copying is optional, with selectable text when the clipboard is unavailable.
- New managed sessions default to Bypass when no permission preference is saved. Confirmed permission changes resume the same native conversation from a supported permission wait, including Copilot Allow All.
- Interrupted checkout locks and rebuilt task histories have clearer recovery. Recovery checks process ownership and preserves earlier verification records and shared-file boundaries.
- Narrow Conversation panes keep tool details, Working status and permission controls readable. Review the code is highlighted above the change map; Finish code review returns directly to the previous view.
- Memory searches use file bindings and code identifiers to find relevant lessons, while warning when their source files have changed. The local engine is pinned to Engram 3.6.1.
Upgrading
Use Update ready, then Restart and update in the App. Without the App, run qualitylayer update. In an existing Claude Code session, run /reload-plugins to load the updated QualityLayer mod. Saved permission choices remain in place; older running Copilot sessions can use Terminal’s /permissions menu.
