QualityLayer 12.3.0

Start from a plan you already have, follow work as it happens, and review the result in QualityLayer while your agent runs in the App or your terminal.

  • Bring an existing plan. Choose Existing plan when creating a task, or use a Chat’s Saved plan. QualityLayer preserves the original, prepares an execution agreement for your approval, then continues with Outline, Implement, Verify and Review. Discuss and Research are marked Not run.
  • Review code in the way that fits. Open individual files, read Markdown as source or rendered text, and mark files or slice groups viewed or unviewed. Finishing code review returns to Review without approving the change. Failed diff loads offer recovery instead of an endless loading screen.
  • Approve in the App or your agent. Ready terminal workflows keep their owner approval controls in the App. Terminal approval can explicitly accept the current disclosed limits in the same decision. Resolving a requirement refreshes the current Review, while required confirmations and unverified checks remain visible.
  • See meaningful progress. Queued checks no longer look like executing commands, results stay attached to the command that produced them, and native task lists preserve the order of their updates.
  • Keep the task you opened. A task link keeps its destination when the onboarding tour is open or about to start.
  • Get fixes sooner. The desktop App checks for updates every hour. Downloads stay in the background, and you choose when to restart.
  • Keep saved lessons current. Memory shows when a lesson was checked and whether its files changed. The App and agents share the same memory controls.
  • Preserve concurrent artifact work. Routine reconciliation belongs to the agent, with Compare available in Review. Guarded folds preserve other writers’ changes and recover from an intervening commit.
  • Clearer reporting and session cleanup. Report confirmations point to the GitHub issue for replies, Private support stays private, and hello@qualitylayer.dev is available as another contact route. Deleting a task stops its associated managed processes.

The native website changelog is back. Its release notes come directly from GitHub Releases.
