New

  • Ask your agent to plan, implement or continue work using QualityLayer or QL in your own words. Separate skills cover workflows, designs, agent communication and administration.
  • Choose In QualityLayer or In my terminal, app or IDE. External handoffs give you a request that carries the task and its recorded stage into the next session.
  • Check whether Claude Code, Codex, Pi and OpenCode are found on your computer, with version details and installation or repair guidance in Settings.
  • Open a design at the page and section you are working on, in QualityLayer or your browser. The CLI also supports renaming, copying, archiving, restoring and deleting Library entries.
  • Each workflow step opens with what needs your attention and a short overview. Supporting detail stays available in folds, with clearer progress and results during implementation and verification.

Fixed

  • Managed launches pick up shell PATH changes without restarting the server.
  • Design previews refresh when their source or dependencies change. Expanding a design fills the window and restores the previous sidebars when you leave the expanded view.
  • Feedback written before a design refresh keeps its text and asks you to select the spot again before sending.
  • Memory word matches are ranked by relevance before the result limit. Older, precise lessons can remain visible alongside semantic matches.
  • Draft Plans and Outlines enforce their size and source-file rules while approved work can continue. Repeated check summaries and generated-file lists are easier to scan.

Good to know

  • The updater replaces QualityLayer-owned legacy skills with the four current skills and preserves edited files as backups. Unrelated custom skills remain yours.
  • An available agent executable can still need a provider login or account access.
