github maxritter/pilot-shell v12.0.0-beta.56

New

  • Run your agent in the App. Start a new task or an approved build with Claude Code or Codex in its own window inside the App, or keep using your terminal. Fold the window and work continues; Interrupt, Stop, move to a terminal or resume later. Choose the permission handling per run, and whether quitting the App keeps runs going. On Windows, use your terminal for now.
  • Projects in the sidebar. Your tasks stand under their projects. Fold, reorder, rename or hide a project, start a task in it with one click, and right-click a project or task for its menu. View groups by project or status; Find searches tasks and projects.
  • Designs. One place lists every project's lasting designs and the drafts open tasks are changing. A design can be a folder of pages that clicks through like an app. A task starts from a lasting design and folds its changed pages back in at Review.
  • Your instructions. Write standing instructions in Settings › Workflow (coding standards, things never to do). A team owner writes Team instructions in Settings › Team, encrypted with the team's key.
  • Project memory. Claude Code and Codex reuse local project lessons between tasks. Choose which repositories share checked lessons through Git, and search or retire them in Settings › Memory.
  • Your agent follows its pull request. After the pull request opens, your agent watches its checks and fixes failures or conflicts, at most three times.
  • Files on comments. Attach pictures and text files to a comment; your agent reads them, and teammates receive them sealed.
  • Large teams. Ask a teammate by name in a team of hundreds; every people list stays in its box.
  • Settings is one calm column of grouped rows. The bell's Earlier list has Clear all. Billing shows the machines on each licence key and lets you release one.
  • Draft an answer to a teammate's question with your own agent, then review and send it.

Fixed

  • On Windows, the App no longer opens a console window for git and its other background programs.
  • Verify reruns a failing check once and then moves on; checks that still fail are listed on the final review. Other sessions' work on the same branch never holds your task or asks for a new review.
  • A lasting design keeps its lib/ or dist/ folders even where the project ignores those names.
  • Projects start in one quiet color instead of a different color each.
  • Selecting text no longer scrolls the document sideways; the Team page shows "Questions for you" only when there is one.
  • A key activated in a terminal reaches an open App at once.
  • A slice that loses a commit race to another session is checked again and committed, never stopping the build.

Good to know

  • Other agents than Claude Code and Codex start from a program path and argument list; their interrupt and resume controls are not available.
  • Agent output stays in local run records on your computer and is never part of a shared task.
