New

  • Home before your first task is new: pick your agent (Claude Code, Codex or
another) and copy the exact command to start a task, or start from one of
three example requests. Below it are the seven steps and what happens after
    the command.
  • Show me around walks you through the App on an example task in seven
stops: the steps, Your turn, the documents and designs, your task list,
finding and filtering, and starting a new task. Esc ends it at any time.
  • When the final approval is asked as a question and a pull request can be
opened, you can pick Approve and open a pull request or Approve
    only
    .
  • When something waits for you, the agent's reply ends with "🔔 Your turn:
    open the QualityLayer App."

Fixed

  • A licence key entered on a computer that has no licence yet is accepted
again. In beta.53 it failed with "The server could not answer this
request", in the App and in qualitylayer licence activate. The App also
opens right after the key is accepted instead of up to a minute later.
  • The App no longer answers "The server could not answer this request" on
every screen when the licence check cannot read its own files. This can
happen after a command was run with sudo. A file it can rebuild is
replaced. Otherwise the App shows "The licence could not be checked", gives
the command that hands the files back, and offers Try again. A licence
file that cannot be read is never replaced by a trial.
  • A new trial starts again on a computer that kept QualityLayer's workflow
files but lost its licence. Before, it was refused as if the clock had been
    turned back.
  • Setup repairs the App's pointer when it is missing, so the status line no
    longer reads "Status unavailable".
  • Teammates' questions no longer use up the team's hourly allowance when you
switch back to the App often. If the allowance does run out, Home says when
the questions come back instead of showing an error.
