New

  • Questions come in batches in one Your turn card. Answer in any order;
each answer reaches your agent at once, while it keeps working on the rest.
  • The card updates as you answer. Undo takes an answer back for five seconds,
and Decided with you records it immediately.
  • A live status at the top says what your agent is working on, when it needs
your answer, and when it is quiet or stopped. Open it for the details.
  • Agree to each Done means point separately. If the agent changes one,
only that point comes back, with its old and new words side by side.
  • Read the Plan full size, with its outline and comments beside it. The right
sidebar keeps Comments, Files and Designs within reach.
  • Home shows what needs your answer, what agents are working on, and what
shipped, with its time and estimated cost.
  • Ask your agent to mock up a screen or draw how something works. Open its
design full size, zoom in, and comment on any spot. The agent changes the
same page, and the App tells you when it was updated.
  • New tasks keep one document per step, from 01-discuss.md to 05-review.md.
Your answers, the build and its proof appear there; agent notes and logs
stay in agent/. Existing tasks keep their files.
  • The file menu offers Copy path, Open in editor, Reveal in Finder and Open
the task folder. Agent records open read-only from the passage they explain.
  • qualitylayer design shot gives your agent a picture of its design. next
tells it when an update is out and whether to wait for the current slice.

Fixed

  • Large tasks open quickly, and long status messages and file menus fit in
narrow windows. The App keeps following the current question and agent
    after its local server restarts.
  • Your agreed points survive document edits. Questions about an approval
already given close instead of asking you again.
  • A new request beside an open task starts its own task. Its first questions
appear on Home, even before the task document exists.
  • You can rebase, merge main, amend or squash before Review. The build's
commit list, checks and pull request still show only its own changes.
  • A task added during a build reaches its agent or starts a follow-up agent.
An agent taking over is told where the previous one left each task.
  • A slice with nothing to commit succeeds. Its files become available to
other slices as soon as it is committed.
  • A check interrupted by an expired login or a dropped connection is retried
once. If it still cannot run, the result names the environment problem.
  • Changing the Plan points out test steps that no longer match. Agents still
finishing their checks can report, and earlier fix rounds stay recorded.
  • An agent reviewing a change fixes what it can and proposes tasks for the rest.
  • Claude Code's progress band shares the space above the prompt with other mods.
  • The session messaging skill is now agent-peers, and Claude Code's task
pane opens with /task-pane. /ql opens the workflow. Updates remove only
QualityLayer's old ql-peers files and preserve your own.

Good to know

  • Shared tasks and links follow all five steps without a reload. Your draft
stays in place while the page updates, and revoked links stay revoked.
  • Share links include a still of the Plan's design. The interactive page,
its scripts and its comments stay on your computer.
  • Teammates' Plan changes reach an open App, and local comments reach the
    agent between reviews.
  • Activating the same licence again reuses this machine's activation.
A failed licence release keeps the details needed to retry.
  • Feedback emails include the screenshots you attached. Reports remain
queued until the mail service accepts them.
