Pilot Shell 11.0.6 keeps approved work moving through long-running builds, tests and CI without repeated waiting questions or accidental pauses.
Workflow fixes
- Suppress routine keep-waiting questions and preserve job handles until completion.
- Continue after answers delivered inside native question tools, including SDK sessions without transcript persistence.
- Accept clear continuation requests attached to updates; preserve explicit holds, pending decisions and user-owned tasks.
- Add Pause on messages and Runaway checkpoints in Console Settings, both off by default.
- Remove hidden verification retry limits. Use quiet Claude Stop continuation on supported versions and a blocking fallback on older versions.
- Handle finite CI monitors correctly and preserve manual-task state when a discussion pause is requested.
Installation and dependencies
- Retire Pilot-owned RTK installation, rewriting and savings UI. Ownership-aware cleanup preserves user integrations and retries incomplete cleanup safely.
- Recognize a running Claude installation when a sandbox hides its executable; defer optional plugin updates when that CLI cannot be invoked.
- Audit all 38 upstream entries and update 19 version/commit/hash pins, including Node 24.21.0, CodeGraph 1.6.1, Semble 0.6.1 and browser/MCP tools.
- Track frozen Console dependencies, verify generated library versions, and preserve the eight MCP tool contracts.
- Fix the documentation build's image-size vulnerabilities with 2.0.4 and ensure Hypothesis installs its CLI extra.
Upgrade notes
Run pilot update, then start a fresh Claude Code or Codex session to load the updated hooks and skills.
Pilot defaults CLAUDE_CODE_STOP_HOOK_BLOCK_CAP to "0" in global Claude settings. This affects third-party Stop hooks too. Explicit values are preserved; set "8" to restore Claude's native default limit.
Intel macOS compatibility is preserved: cryptography remains at 48.0.1 and Homebrew uses its newest Intel-compatible installer. The documented cryptography advisories affect APIs Pilot does not use. Fetcher-MCP's latest stable release retains one low-severity transitive Readability advisory.
Issue #192's dotted-directory validation fix shipped in 11.0.5 and was revalidated during this release.
Validation includes the full Python/Console suites, seven native Claude acceptance scenarios, clean locked builds, compiled launcher smoke tests, MCP contract comparison, isolated upstream capability/migration checks and release CI.
