Release 0.6 adds experimental Vulkan support, expands runtime validation, and documents tested coexistence with the RenoDX DLSS5 addon.
Vulkan support
- Detects the renderer initialized by ReShade and recognizes Vulkan NGX DLSS-G providers in addition to the established Direct3D 12 path.
- Reuses the renderer-independent
slDLSSGSetOptionsandslDLSSGGetStateintegration; it does not add Frame Generation to games that do not already support Streamline DLSS-G. - Tested successfully in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. That game requires the launch option
+r_allowBlackListedLayers 1so ReShade can load through Vulkan. - Hell Is Us has also been added to the working-game list.
Runtime validation and regression hardening
- Shows the detected renderer, DLSS-G runtime status, actual presentation telemetry, and the highest presentation count observed.
- Limits status logging to the first OK result and previously unseen failure flags, preventing log spam if a game oscillates between states in menus or transitions.
- Preserves the known Direct3D/OTA provider fast path. Vulkan export checks are only used for renamed or relocated providers.
- Does not add continuous module enumeration to
Presentand does not implement a separate frame-pacing scheduler; presentation pacing remains owned by Streamline and the NVIDIA driver.
RenoDX DLSS5 compatibility
- MFG Unlock and RenoDX DLSS5 have been confirmed working together and individually with Streamline 2.12.129 and the corresponding 310.7.129 NVIDIA DLL set.
- Special thanks to mugensc for isolating the combined-addon behavior and identifying the known-good runtime combination.
- Severe menu slowdown was reported with both addons using Streamline 2.14.0 and 310.9 DLLs. That combination remains under investigation and is not claimed as fixed by this release.
- Use complete matching Streamline/NGX sets and verify the paths of the modules actually loaded, since a game may select an OTA provider instead of the local DLL.
Documentation and attribution
- Expanded installation, validation, Vulkan, DLSS5 compatibility, and troubleshooting instructions.
- Clarified the technical lineage: dashdogy provided the foundational reverse engineering and original ASI implementation; Dreamt created the original ReShade/RenoDX addon adaptation; this fork adds the compatibility and maintenance work described in the README.
- Preserves all existing credits and the project license.
Compatibility is not universal and may vary with the game version, Streamline/DLSS-G version, GPU, driver, ReShade version, and configuration.
