github mattrobinsonsre/terrapod v1.11.1

Terrapod is a free, open-source platform replacement for Terraform Enterprise. This is a patch release carrying four bug fixes, all of which an operator meets without changing any configuration.

Bug Fixes

  • Pull-request status comments and auto-merge — a status comment froze, and auto-merge silently never fired, when two open pull requests on one VCS connection shared a number. A connection is a single GitHub App installation covering a whole organisation, so (connection, pr_number) was never unique. Resolving the session by its whole identity was only half of it: the queries that consume it matched a workspace by URL suffix, and because .git is stripped before parsing, any workspace configured with the clone URL a provider hands out matched none of them. Auto-merge, the comment's workspace rows, and the cancellation of a closed PR's runs were all affected — the last leaving a finished-but-unapplied run holding the workspace lock against every other pull request.
  • Per-run Job and Secret names — names were built from the first 16 characters of a run's UUIDv7, which leaves a single random hex digit to separate runs created in the same millisecond. A VCS event fanning out to eight workspaces collided most of the time, and the loser died on AlreadyExists and needed a manual retry — a red check on a pull request with nothing at fault. Names are now derived from a hash of the whole run id.
  • The run log pane — the pane was capped at a fraction of the viewport, which bounds its height and not its bottom edge, so it ran off the bottom of an ordinary laptop window and left a growing band of dead space on a tall monitor. It is now measured against the space actually left below it, with an absolute floor: on a window too short to hold that floor the page scrolls rather than the pane overflowing. Touch behaviour is unchanged — the pane grows to its content and the page scrolls.
  • Operator documentation — the state-divergence runbook gave a log query built from a per-run name that the Job-name fix above made impossible to derive by hand. It now resolves the pod by its run-id label first.

Status

Stable — four bug fixes, no configuration changes, no schema changes.
