- Run
npx prisma migrate deployafter updating (the Docker image does this automatically on start). The migration adds sync tracking to your existing data, so it may take a moment on large instances.
Delta sync for native apps
A new GET /api/sync endpoint returns only the records that changed since a client last synced, including deletions. This lets the upcoming native apps keep a local copy of your contacts, groups, relationships, important dates, journal entries and custom fields up to date without downloading everything each time. It works with web sessions, native device sessions and personal API tokens.
Changes are tracked by the database itself, so every way of editing data is covered, including CardDAV sync, imports, merges and restoring from trash.
Other changes
- The existing
purge-deletedcron job now also removes sync deletion records older than 90 days. No changes to your cron schedule are needed.
