Fixes for CardDAV Date Handling and UI Enhancement
This release addresses critical issues related to duplicate date entries in CardDAV vCards and improves usability for managing personal relationships.
Bug fixes
- Ensure dates in CardDAV-synced vCards are no longer duplicated. This resolves an issue that caused Apple apps to misinterpret certain dates and experience excessive memory usage, potentially causing macOS to lock up. Only one standardized format (
X-ABDATEwithX-ABLabel) is now used for non-birthday dates, ensuring cross-platform compatibility. - Deduplicate important dates during both import and export to prevent unintended duplications for users syncing contacts across multiple platforms.
- Correct parsing of
X-ANNIVERSARYfields from external CardDAV sources to preserve accurate date types and prevent unnecessary duplications. - Fix the "Relationship to you" dropdown in edit mode for all contacts. This now allows users to add, change, or remove relationships for any contact, including those created indirectly
