Fixed

  • Open pages stay visible during CLI writes, retaining unchanged blocks, scroll position and the editor selection when an external edit updates the page (GH #911).
  • Folding blocks inside a page embed saves the source fold state, keeping other views in step and newly inserted blocks visible (GH #868).
  • Conflict review no longer suggests removing a block that both versions still contain when one device moved it and the other edited a neighbour; applying the suggestions, or choosing either whole version of its parent, lost that block (GH #901).
  • Apply all suggested no longer resets your choices on rows Tine has no suggestion for; Keep both everywhere shows the active choice on blocks only one side has; a review that knows the common version no longer says none is known (GH #901).
  • Journal days and split panes use the same width rule for margin comments as single pages; comment and reply editors hide every tine.* property on all platforms while preserving its bytes on save (GH #891).
  • Editing an authored block keeps its author mark visible while hiding and preserving tine.author::; the chip menu offers Remove author. Author metadata no longer appears inside blockquotes (GH #894, GH #895).
  • Margin comments anchor repeated passages using enough context to identify the selected occurrence, including the last word of a block. Tied matches are shown as ambiguous; missing quotes remain visible. Wide margin cards follow passage order and keep the focused thread beside its passage (GH #891).
  • On touch screens, Comment is available when selecting rendered text, before entering edit mode (GH #891).
  • Body editing skips whole margin-comment threads: Backspace, Delete, Enter, arrows, indentation, drag and paste preserve comments and their replies (GH #891, GH #110).
  • iOS Betas install as the separate amber Tine Beta app, with their own settings, graph folders and share inbox, alongside the App Store app (GH #890).
  • A sync copy identical to its page no longer sticks as a conflict that says there is nothing to decide: identical copies go to Tine's trash on their own, including the second of two identical copies after the first is resolved, and a copy that only looks identical offers Discard copy (GH #875).
  • Renaming a page keeps its file in its current subfolder, including Org files and namespace children (GH #904).
  • An externally moved page no longer stays hidden behind a stale path: late page-index updates drop absent files, and an incomplete launch checkpoint rebuilds from disk (GH #905).
  • Page embeds keep the source outline's order after structural edits, and preserve folded branches while the source page is loading (GH #868).
  • On Android, opening the keyboard leaves about three body lines below the caret so children of short blocks stay visible, while keeping the edited line below pinned parents (GH #783).
  • Deleting or merging a horizontal-rule bullet no longer lets its retiring editor replace the page with an error (GH #906).
  • Search tabs keep their result rows and scroll position usable while the graph is being written through the CLI; unrelated edits skip the search refresh and matching edits update without replacing unchanged rows (GH #907).
  • A journal title or other physical page route refused during a temporary sync gap now retries automatically when its file returns, without requiring a graph switch (GH #863).
  • tine commands run from the folder that contains a graph (for example your home folder, with the graph in ~/logseq) no longer treat that folder as the graph, which listed Logseq backup copies as pages and journals as plain pages; they now look for the graph's logseq/config.edn (GH #908).
  • A wide table in a nested block no longer has the outline guide lines of its parent blocks drawn through its header and rows on narrow windows, split panes and the sidebar (GH #909).

Changed

  • The first-comment name question asks “How should your comments be signed?” without mentioning git or GitHub; when it appears and how the name is saved are unchanged (internal: UI-COMMENT-NAME-WORDING).
  • Comment threads read at one level in file order, including hand-nested replies; new replies attach directly to the thread root. Existing nesting stays unchanged on disk. Comment badges count threads, and the visibility command and setting are named Show/Hide comments (GH #110, GH #891).

Download an installer for your platform below. Windows and Linux ship both x64 and ARM64 builds (match your CPU). Windows users who prefer no installer can grab the portable Tine-Beta_0.9.0-beta.9_x64-portable.zip for their architecture. Windows builds are currently unsigned, so Windows may show a warning on first launch. The macOS build is signed and notarized. On macOS, if Tine repeatedly asks to access Documents, see the workaround in the README.
