Fixed

  • Updated TLS certificate verification dependencies for the emSign distrust advisories (#828).
  • Pressing Enter after Ctrl+Enter cycles a task to DOING keeps its clock drawer on the original task, including when splitting the title (#829; covered by the earlier #741 drawer fix).
  • Security: patched an out-of-bounds write in the PDF image decoder that a crafted JPEG 2000 image in a PDF could trigger (#827).
  • The build instructions now say where to get the Emscripten SDK and how the build finds it, and the missing-SDK error points to them (#830).
  • YouTube timestamps written as 9:03 or 1:02:03 now show and seek to the full time, instead of treating only the first number as seconds. Invalid timestamp arguments are hidden.
  • Linux desktop launcher updates now check the launcher's channel identity as well as its managed flag, preserving entries with another channel's identity (#814).
  • Shift-clicking Journals in the left sidebar or toolbar opens today's journal in the right sidebar and keeps the main page in place, as in Logseq. Plain clicks and g j still open the journal feed (#740).
  • Adding a margin comment opens it beside or directly below its passage without first jumping to the end of the block's children. Every response now has the same author row above its text, separate from the quoted passage (#110).
  • Expanding or collapsing a large bullet no longer reloads embeds and queries above it, which made text flash and rows jump (GH #795, UI-GH795-COLLAPSE-FLASH).
  • At interface zoom above 100% on phones, the bottom navigation row stays on screen and the editing toolbar stays usable, with the keyboard open or closed; drawers and bottom sheets fit the screen too (#826).
  • Expand children and Collapse children now work one level at a time on query blocks and their result rows (#792). BEGIN_QUERY also honours :remove-block-children? false for nested matches (#651).
  • The Journal sections note in Settings → Journals wraps within the pane, keeping its Open page link visible (#808).
  • Fast PDF scrolling gives page painting priority over first selectable-text builds. Text selection catches up shortly after scrolling stops; page jumps and Find still request it immediately.
  • Pasting a copied web URL on macOS inserts the link instead of showing a copied-files error. Real copied files still paste as assets (#813).
  • A refused or failed graph clone now removes its downloaded git metadata before checkout, so fixing the remote or signing in and retrying does not leave a hidden .git folder blocking the next attempt. Existing empty folders are kept; folders with unexpected contents are retained and named in the error.
  • Typing 1. inside a code or calculator block now keeps it as literal text instead of removing the fence and turning the block into a numbered list.
  • Queries with query-table:: true now show their results in published read-only apps. Query exports also keep the table's chosen columns and starting sort.

Download an installer for your platform below. Windows and Linux ship both x64 and ARM64 builds (match your CPU). Windows users who prefer no installer can grab the portable Tine-Beta_0.9.0-beta.4_x64-portable.zip for their architecture. Windows builds are currently unsigned, so Windows may show a warning on first launch. The macOS build is signed and notarized. On macOS, if Tine repeatedly asks to access Documents, see the workaround in the README.
