iPhone / iPad: join the public beta on TestFlight. A TestFlight build is published for most releases; it may lag this one by a few days.

Fixed

• The search index could not be built at all, on every launch, when any page contained a reference whose name is blank or only a slash, such as [[ ]], [[/]], #/, tags:: / or [[　]] (an ideographic space); Linked/Unlinked References and queries then showed "couldn't be built (code: other)". Such references are now ignored, as they name no page, and a page whose own name is blank or / is indexed normally (GH #594).
• Linked and Unlinked References answer again while the search index is building or has failed, by reading the pages as v0.6.982 did. Before, a graph whose index could not be built showed no references for the whole session. Query blocks still wait for the index (GH #594, #543).
• The search tab ("Open search tab" in Ctrl+K) shows results again while the search index is building or has failed, as it did in v0.6.982. Until the index is ready they come from a scan of your pages, in page order, and the tab says so; they are replaced by the index's results once it answers. Before, the tab showed "Rebuilding the query index…" for as long as the index was not ready, while Ctrl+K worked (GH #543).
• Journals stopped loading for an hour every night where the Linux AppImage's built-in time-zone data is out of date, for example in Mexico City, which no longer observes daylight saving time: the window and the app disagreed about which day it was. The app's calendar now follows the system's time-zone rules everywhere (GH #607).
• A query table's column picker offers Page, so a hand-picked column selection can keep it (GH #606).

Changed

• In a narrow window the indexing indicator in the toolbar says "Indexing" beside its bar; before, it showed a bare bar (suggested by EllisMorrow, GH #594).
• Diagnostics: an index failure in the diagnostic report now names the step that failed as well as its class, and with --debug the underlying error text reaches the debug log file on every platform; before, the Windows app dropped it, so repeated other failures could not be diagnosed (GH #594).
• Diagnostics: the experimental 32-bit Windows build no longer records its manual-update policy as an updater failure on every launch, and each session's start in the report names the build version and architecture, so a report can tell which build a previous session ran (GH #594).

Download an installer for your platform below. Windows and Linux ship both x64 and ARM64 builds (match your CPU). Windows users who prefer no installer can grab the portable Tine_*-portable.zip for their architecture. Windows builds are currently unsigned, so Windows may show a warning on first launch. The macOS build is signed and notarized. On macOS, if Tine repeatedly asks to access Documents, see the workaround in the README.
