Fixed

  • Ctrl+K search now tells you when more matches exist beyond its bounded result
window and prompts you to narrow the query, instead of presenting a truncated
list as if it were complete (GH #209).
  • Page aliases are now scoped to the physical file that declares them, so an
exact alias search cannot return a same-named sibling file (GH #209).
  • One page containing unsupported search-index syntax can no longer make its
whole cache worker shard disappear silently; other pages remain searchable and
the skipped page is reported as an indexing failure (GH #209).
  • The mobile/narrow top bar no longer pushes action buttons off-screen: the
workspace switcher now lives in the left-sidebar header (with a compact one-tap
fallback in the toolbar when the sidebar is closed), and lower-priority toolbar
actions collapse into a "…" overflow menu when the bar is narrow — driven by the
toolbar's real width (zoom/DPI-aware), so narrow desktop windows adapt too
    (GH #205).
  • Page-property backlinks (e.g. tags:: blah) now render their linkified value in
Linked References through the same renderer used in-page, instead of showing raw
    key:: value markdown (GH #212).
  • Recursive and deeply nested block/page embeds and queries now stop with an
"Embed depth is too deep" notice (OG's depth-5 guard) instead of expanding
forever; a page can no longer embed itself (GH #206).
  • Pressing Enter while typing page-header properties no longer shows a validation
error or jams later saves for that page; the transient trailing newline remains
in the editor while the persisted header stays canonical (GH #210).

Download an installer for your platform below. Windows and Linux ship both x64 and ARM64 builds (match your CPU). Windows users who prefer no installer can grab the portable Tine_*-portable.zip for their architecture. macOS and Windows builds are currently unsigned, so their operating systems may show a warning on first launch. On macOS, if Tine repeatedly asks to access Documents, see the workaround in the README.
