Added
- Named workspaces can save and switch the complete window context in place,
persist per graph across restarts, and leave graph files untouched (GH #104). - Show brackets around page references can now be toggled in Appearance settings
or withmod+c mod+b, with the OG-compatible value saved to the graph's
logseq/config.edn.
Changed
- Linked/Unlinked/query reference groups prune their per-group collapse state
only when the result set actually changes, instead of re-walking the entire
reference subtree on every structural edit anywhere inside it. Collapse
behavior is unchanged; large reference sections do less bookkeeping work while
you edit (GH #185).
Fixed
- Property names now fold to lowercase with spaces and underscores shown and
matched as-, matching Logseq while preserving the file's original bytes. #+BEGIN_QUOTE/#+BEGIN_EXAMPLE(and other org container) blocks whose body contains a-list were split into separate blocks — corrupting the block structure on save and leaking the raw delimiters in rendering; they now stay one block.- Pages whose page-header properties came from an older version (e.g. a page that
is onlytitle::/tags::metadata) no longer get stuck with a repeating
"Couldn't save … — will retry. (refusing to drop an existing page preamble
while authoring page-header properties)" error. The data-preservation firewall
was misfiring on the legitimate save of such a page once its properties had been
canonicalized to disk; the page now saves normally with no change to the file on
disk. Restarting is no longer needed to clear the error (GH #198). - The page-bottom "+ Add block" target now always adds a new writable block, even
when the page already ends in an empty bullet. Previously it re-focused the
existing trailing empty block, so if that block was indented you could never get
a fresh unindented block below it and clicking appeared to do nothing. Stacking
empty last blocks is now allowed (GH #158). - Editing inside an existing
[[page]]or((block))reference — for example
inserting a word in front of the current text — and accepting a completion now
rewrites the whole reference instead of leaving a stray]]/)), matching
Logseq (GH #199). - Linked References no longer show a redundant "1 mention" label and jump button
on a block that mentions the page only once; the occurrence count and
jump-to-occurrence controls now appear only when a block mentions the page more
than once, matching Logseq (GH #200). - Clicking a Markdown external link on Linux now opens the browser with a
browser-appropriate environment instead of failing with a KIOExec file error;
only bundle/loader environment variables are scrubbed, desktop/session state is
preserved (GH #195). - Android versions below 11 (API < 30) no longer crash on launch with an
UnsatisfiedLinkErrorforrenameat2(GH #192). - Linked and Unlinked References now match Logseq: Unicode-canonical (NFC) page
and alias identity, plain (unbracketed) property text counted as an unlinked
mention, same-named pages from different folders merged into one reference
group, and a real page title no longer shadowed by another page's alias
(GH #137). - Reference panels now show result truncation ("showing N of M") and a bounded
error state instead of an empty panel when limits are exceeded (GH #137). - Linked and Unlinked References now use the complete transitive, bidirectional
alias component, including every owner of a duplicate alias (GH #137). - Per-block reference labels now report the true mention total while keeping
the occurrence jump-target list bounded (GH #137). - Autocomplete and Ctrl+K search now rank all matching blocks globally before
applying result caps, so a strong block match is no longer omitted because of
where the block sits in the graph; inline and Ctrl+K pools match Logseq's
sizes, and autocomplete ordering uses the same Unicode (NFC) identity as the
rest of search (GH #186). - Settings now scroll on narrow and mobile viewports, so lower settings are
reachable instead of being clipped by the modal. - The mobile sidebar drawer can now be closed by swiping it toward its edge, in
addition to the existing back gesture/button and close button.
Download an installer for your platform below. Windows and Linux ship both x64 and ARM64 builds (match your CPU). Windows users who prefer no installer can grab the portable Tine_*-portable.zip for their architecture. macOS and Windows builds are currently unsigned, so their operating systems may show a warning on first launch. On macOS, if Tine repeatedly asks to access Documents, see the workaround in the README.
