- Search and queries now share a persistent result workspace. Ctrl+K can
open its complete page-and-block result set in a graph-scoped tab, switch
between search, list, table, and board presentations, survive an app restart,
and become one ordinary query page when named—without writing temporary graph
files. (GH #99) - Query creation has a friendly primary surface and an optional deeper one.
Plain search syntax remains editable as plain text; a Gmail-style filter
dialog can build richer searches or hand off losslessly to the visual query
builder and raw DSL, while on-demand explanations and diagnostics show what
the engine interpreted. (GH #69) - Search results now show bounded, useful evidence. Block results separate
page/breadcrumb context from a two-line excerpt and highlight every positive
term that actually caused the Rust engine to match; negated terms are never
presented as evidence, and the combobox exposes its active result to
assistive technology. (GH #98) - Primary panes now share quiet, theme-aware scrollbar styling. The left
sidebar, page/split scrollers, and right sidebar use the same semantic thumb
colors without forcing overlay scrollbars into layout-consuming geometry;
forced-colors and coarse-pointer environments retain native controls. (GH
#103) - Clicking an outline guide now expands or collapses the complete descendant
subtree. If any collapsible descendant is folded, the guide expands them
all; otherwise it folds them all while leaving the guide's parent open. The
forgiving hit target is keyboard-accessible, normal pages persist the change
as one Undo step, and embeds/references keep it local to that surface. (GH
#128) - Overflowing tab strips now keep titles readable and provide a complete tab
overview. A pane-local button appears only when its tabs no longer fit,
lists every full title with active, pinned, and close controls, and supports
keyboard navigation. Activating a tab reveals it in the horizontal strip;
ordinary tab closing, pinning, and drag-and-drop behavior remains intact. (GH
#105) - Right-sidebar items can now be collapsed independently. Each page or block
has an accessible disclosure that parks its body without mounting its outline
or references; a compact menu provides Collapse all, Expand all, and Close
all. State is local to this installation and graph, survives restarts and
renames, and active edits commit before a body is removed. (GH #106) - Block embeds have a restrained, theme-aware identity cue. The embedded
root bullet and its heavier descendant guide share a muted accent derived
from the active theme; ordinary bullets, guides, text, and backgrounds remain
unchanged, and custom CSS can override the semantic token. (GH #125) - Favorites and Recent can now be collapsed independently in the left
sidebar. Both sections default open, retain their item counts while folded,
work as keyboard-accessible disclosures, and remember their state separately
for each graph across restarts. (GH #101)
Fixed
- The
/Calculatorslash command now activates the live calculator on first
insertion. The new block immediately shows its fence-stripped editor,
line-number gutter, and live results instead of requiring a blur and second
click. (GH #57) - Typing a page alias into the first bullet no longer interrupts the editor at
alias::. The property block stays mounted until editing ends, then adopts
the compact page-property presentation; the completed alias persists and
resolves links and backlinks normally. (GH #62) - Android backup restore no longer fails when app data and the selected graph
live on different filesystems. Pre-restore recovery files now stay beside
the live graph or external assets they protect, preserving the atomic safety
move without hitting a cross-device error. (GH #130) - Switching an ordinary query to Search view no longer hides its results.
Search, List, Table, and Board now preserve the query engine's membership;
DSL results use the same bounded search rows without inventing text-match
highlights that the query did not produce. - Graphs with an external
assetssymlink or Windows junction can be opened
safely. Tine shows the resolved directory for explicit, device-local
approval, then confines every asset read and write to that exact canonical
target. Declining leaves the graph closed with a useful explanation, while a
stale or retargeted link fails closed without widening access to pages,
journals, configuration, or other managed files. (GH #127) - Linked and unlinked references now use the complete page identity. Plain
text mentions of a page alias appear under the canonical page's unlinked
references, while explicit links in page-level properties appear as exact,
read-only backlink rows. Scoped cache invalidation follows the same rules, so
edited references update immediately. (GH #126) - Block embeds now behave as live editing surfaces. Real disclosure clicks
fold same-page and cross-page embedded branches locally without editing the
macro host or changing the source block's collapse state, and Enter keeps the
new block and caret inside the visible embed while persisting one source edit.
(GH #124) - Help with Tine no longer exports a scrubbed reproduction that has lost the
original actionable parser delta and retained only mldoc's known backtick
state artifact. The anonymizer now tries its remaining privacy tiers and
omits the case if none preserves a non-artifact divergence. (GH #82)

Windows users who prefer no installer can grab the portable Tine_*-portable.zip for their architecture. macOS and Windows builds are currently unsigned, so their operating systems may show a warning on first launch.
