In-app Guide link/reference fixes, context menus that stay on-screen, faster
sheet mounting, and a parser refresh (lsdoc 0.5.1). No new features.

Fixed

  • Context menus no longer open off-screen. A right-click menu near the bottom of the
window (e.g. deleting a namespace low in the sidebar) now opens upward when there isn't
room below, and is clamped horizontally, so all of its items stay reachable.
  • Links and block references now work on the in-app Guide. Guide pages linked to
[[Welcome to Tine]] and [[Project/Roadmap]], which weren't part of the bundled
guide set, so those links opened a blank page; and block references / embeds
(((…)), {{embed …}}) never resolved because the Guide is virtual (never written
to disk) while resolution only scanned the on-disk graph. The guide set is now closed
under its own links (a test enforces it), and refs/embeds fall back to the loaded
guide pages. Everything resolves consistently in the in-app Guide, in the
copied-into-graph copy, and in the published website demo.
  • Page aliases typed as the first bullet now work. Writing alias:: book as the
first bullet on a page (the natural outliner action, matching Logseq) now registers
the page alias, so #book/[[book]] references resolve to that page and appear in
its backlinks — previously the alias only took effect when set via the page
    properties panel. (GH #62)
  • Shift-click in the left sidebar opens the page in the right sidebar. Shift-clicking
a favorite, recent, all-pages, or namespace-tree entry now opens it in the side panel
(as inline links already did) instead of navigating in the center pane and selecting
    text. (GH #63)
  • Query-builder dropdowns no longer render behind the backlinks section. (GH #64)
  • Enter inside a fenced code block inserts a newline instead of splitting off a new
bullet and breaking the fence. (GH #66)

Performance

  • Large sheet tables and boards mount much faster. A row's / card's heavy content
(title parsing, value chips, formula results) is now rendered lazily as it scrolls
near the viewport instead of all at once, mirroring the existing block-body
virtualization. Selection, keyboard navigation and drag still work over the whole
sheet. On a synthetic 2000-row table this cut initial mount cost by ~2.6×. (The grid
view gets the same treatment in a follow-up.)

Changed

  • Parser updated to lsdoc 0.5.1. Page-reference and backlink extraction now follow
Logseq/mldoc semantics more closely, alongside lexer performance improvements. Purely
a parser refresh — your files are unchanged.

Download an installer for your platform below. Windows and Linux ship both x64 and ARM64 builds (match your CPU). Windows users who prefer no installer can grab the portable Tine_*-portable.zip for their arch — unzip and run the exe (needs the WebView2 runtime, preinstalled on Windows 10/11). macOS/Windows builds are currently unsigned (right-click → Open on macOS; More info → Run anyway on Windows). On macOS, if Tine keeps asking to access your Documents folder on launch, see the workaround.
