Added

Automatic updates (Windows & Linux). Tine now checks for a newer version on launch
and can download and install it in place (Tauri's signed updater); a one-time “a newer
Tine is available” toast appears when an update is found. macOS stays a manual download
for now (unsigned builds). This is the first release with the updater built in — update
to 0.3.1 once by hand, and future versions can update themselves. -
Tab conveniences. Reopen the last closed tab with
Ctrl+Shift+T, and cycle
tabs withCtrl+PgUp/Ctrl+PgDn(all remappable in Settings → Keymap). Reopening a
page — or relaunching Tine — now restores each tab's scroll position. -
Editor typing polish (opt-in). Optional auto-pairing of brackets and quotes, and
“on-type” typographic replacement (->→→,--→–,---→—) with an Off / on-render /
on-type switch (Settings → Editor). Inter'scaltligatures are turned off so asterisks
and arrows keep a consistent height while you edit.
Fixed
-
Up/Down caret navigation. Arrowing into a
SCHEDULED/DEADLINEbullet that also
shows up in the journal agenda no longer loses the caret: the agenda copy stays
rendered (it no longer steals focus or flips into an editor) while you edit the real
bullet. Up/Down now also preserve the caret's column across blocks, matching Logseq,
instead of snapping to the start or end of the line. -
Journal feed navigation. Pressing Down past the last loaded day pulls in the next
journal day, and returning to a page loads enough of the feed to restore your saved
scroll position. -
Clicking into an empty block no longer nudges it down a couple of pixels.
Download an installer for your platform below. macOS/Windows builds are currently unsigned (right-click → Open on macOS; More info → Run anyway on Windows). On macOS, if Tine keeps asking to access your Documents folder on launch, see the workaround.
