TL;DR: Chocolatey is here and the UI does not hang anymore when loading packages
Main changelog
- WingetUI 1.6.0 brings full support for CHOCOLATEY
- The UI has been optimised do it does not stutter anymore when loading packages
- A welcome window has been implemented so users can choose which package managers they want to use.
- Scoop installation won't be handled anymore by the installer
- Uppdated Winget to version 1.4, improving reliability of the cli
- Native context menus also have translations (thanks to @panther7)
- Packages are now updated properly, matching installation location and scope on winget.
- Finally fixed the built-in updater, so users don't have to rely on winget backend
- WingetUI will now warn the user when a package needs to restart the pc to finish the installation
- Improved dark mode titlebars and dialog background
- Steam, GOG and Ubisoft software stores are identified as sources on the Uninstall tab (thanks to @ppvnf)
- Lots of other bugfixes and improvements.
