- Client location (#478). Clients have an optional Location field, set when adding a client or in Edit Client. It shows under the client name in the client list and in the client header.
- Offline alerts per client (#512). Edit Client has an "Alert when offline" switch, on by default. Turn it off for laptops and desktops that are switched off by design: no offline alert, and no "back online" alert. Backups and missed-backup alerts still work as usual.
- Pick the repository when restoring (#465). A client with archives in more than one repository gets a Repository dropdown on the Restore tab, and the Archive list shows only that repository's archives.
- API: client list and detail include
locationandoffline_alerts. Creating a client acceptslocation, and updating accepts both. Non-admin tokens can change a client's location as well as its name.
Fixes
- Docker: custom PUID/PGID was lost on every container update (#520). After a recreate, the app ran as UID 33 against data owned by your PUID, and jobs failed with "Permission denied". The container now applies PUID/PGID on every start, and files written under the wrong IDs are fixed on the next start.
- Remote SSH connections: keep-alive and clearer disconnect errors (#521). Borg's SSH connections now send keep-alives every 10 seconds, as the Borg docs recommend. When ssh drops a connection, its reason (for example a timeout) now appears in the job log instead of only borg's "Broken Pipe".
- Docker: fresh installs reported "MIGRATION FAILED" on every start. Nothing was missing from the database, but the same migrations were retried and reported as failed on every start and update. They're now recorded correctly, including on installs already in that state.
Agent updated to 2.98.0 (#521). Docker agent users need the new borgbackupserver-agent image.
