A redesigned dashboard is available at /v2 while we iterate — the default / route is unchanged. Head to https://your-server/v2 to see it and please share feedback on #146.
The redesign addresses the four open Dashboard Improvement issues:
- Server version / hostname / OS / uptime now surface at the top (#104)
- Recovery Points promoted to a hero metric; ClickHouse rows demoted to a compact card (#116)
- Storage Locations get their own full-width section — every configured local location AND every remote SSH host as a card, with correct per-location disk %, used/free, repo count, and bytes backed up (#98, #128)
- Auto-fill grid means the panel looks "full" whether you have 1 storage location or 5+
Other changes since beta4:
- Colored hero tile backgrounds (blue / green / amber / red) for quick visual parsing
- Server Health compacted to horizontal bars instead of circular gauges
- MySQL / File Catalog panels reduced to small key-value cards
- All admin-only panels gated correctly
From the schedules page (beta4)
- Histogram hourly, day view gains :30 half-hour labels + dashed gridlines
- Subdued navy gradient headers on Load By Hour / Day View
- Mobile: thin x-axis labels, simplified block text
PUID/GID migration (beta1–2)
Still current: auto-chown on PUID/PGID change, state tracking in .ownership, preflight guards, detailed logging. Validated on Synology btrfs.
